Tofu Kimchi by MAMA HALLA



Preparation Time

15 minutes


Basmati/Sushi rice (1 portion)

Cooking oil (2 TBSP)

Vegan kimchi (100g)

Sliced onion (½)

Tinned tuna or pork (70g)

Soy sauce (1 TBSP)

Brown sugar (1 tsp)

Sesame oil (1 TBSP)

Coriander (handful)

How to make

  1. While boiling rice, chop onion, prepare a handful of coriander leaves, and cut tofu into bitesize

  2. chunks, then set aside. 

  3. Heat 1 TBSP cooking oil in a pan and fry tofu both sides. 

  4. When golden, place on serving dish and sprinkle with coriander. 

  5. Fry kimchi and sliced onion for 2 min. 

  6. Add soy sauce and brown sugar, and cook until it becomes thicker, before adding tuna and mixing well. Turn off heat, add sesame oil, stir, and plate-up.
