Kimchi Fried Rice With Tuna or Bacon by MAMA HALLA

Preparation Time

30 minutes


Basmati/sushi Rice (1 portion)

Cooking oil (1 TBSP)

Sliced Onion (medium: 1/2)

Chopped Spring Onion (1/2)

Vegan Kimchi (100g)

Tinned Tuna or Bacon (70g)

Soy Sauce (1 TBSP)

Brown Sugar (1 tsp)

Sesame oil (1 TBSP)

How to make

  1. While boiling rice, chop onion and spring onion and set both aside. 

  2. Heat cooking oil in a pan and fry kimchi and sliced onion for 2 min. 

  3. Add soy sauce and brown sugar, and cook until evaporated (becomes thicker). 

  4. Add boiled rice and tuna (or bacon) and mix well until cooked. 

  5. Turn off the heat, add sesame oil, and stir well. 

  6. Sprinkle with chopped spring onion, and serve.
